Student Corner — guides for BHMS students

Student Corner is the room for guides written specifically for BHMS students, as opposed to the subject-by-subject study rooms elsewhere on this platform. If Courses is where you go to study a subject in depth, this is where you go for the parts of student life that sit around the syllabus: admissions and counselling, how the first year is structured, how exams work, the internship year, and what comes after the degree.

Right now this room is empty, and it says so plainly rather than pretending otherwise. New student guides are being written, and they will appear here as they are published — newest first, so the room stays current as the platform grows. A quiet room today simply means its turn hasn’t come yet, not that nothing is planned for it.

What belongs here is guidance any BHMS student in the network could use regardless of which college or which year they’re in: how NEET-UG counselling actually works, what documents admission needs, how to read an exam notification, what the internship year involves, or what options exist once the degree is complete. What doesn’t belong here is subject content — Materia Medica, Organon, Repertory and the rest each have their own rooms under Courses, organised by year.

Think of it as the room for the questions that come up around the course rather than inside it. A first-year student trying to understand how counselling rounds actually work isn’t looking for a Physiology note; a fourth-year student weighing what to do after the internship isn’t looking for an Organon aphorism. Both are real, common questions across the whole BHMS journey, and both deserve a room built specifically for them rather than being scattered across subject pages where they don’t quite fit.

Because this shelf is fed by the platform’s bhms-students category rather than by a single year tag, a piece written here reaches every year at once — a genuinely general guide doesn’t need rewriting five times for five year pages. That’s also why it grows more slowly than the year rooms: it only holds what’s actually true across the whole course, not year-specific detail dressed up as general advice.
