• Organise users by college and batch, as the platform is structured

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances:

• Within the community: If you turn on “Show me to classmates”, students of your own college can see your name, course and year. They cannot see your phone or email. You can turn it off any time.
• Checking registrations: A trusted member chosen by us may see a new person’s details to check them. This can be your name, your registration or licence number, your college or city, and the last four digits of your phone. They cannot see your email, your full phone number or your address. Their word helps us. We make the final decision.
• Service providers: Hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the platform.

5. Data Security

Checks for your safety: We check text written on homoeopaths.org, such as support messages, booking notes, reviews and profiles, for phone numbers, emails, addresses and outside links. We do this to keep you safe and to protect the portal. A person on our team may look at the short part that was marked. We do not read private WhatsApp chats. We do not record or listen to video calls.

Keeping bookings fair: To stop misuse, we keep a scrambled copy of the network address and the device you use when you book a visit or ask for a code. We cannot read it back as an address or a device. We keep it for 90 days and then delete it. We use it only to find misuse, such as one person making many accounts. We never use it to sell anything or to show you anything.

For a deletion we wait 7 days first, in case you change your mind. We delete or make anonymous what we can. We keep only what the law makes us keep, such as payment records, for the time the law says. Other people's data and our staff notes are not part of your copy.

Homoeopaths.org may contain links to external websites including our newsletter (sent from our own mailing list at lists.homoeopaths.org), social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, Telegram), WhatsApp, and institutional college websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The platform is intended for BHMS students (typically 17 years and older) and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

A parent or guardian may register for a child and watch over how the child uses the platform. A parent or guardian can write to us at any time to see, correct or delete the child's data.

Pages of faculty, doctors and pharmacies

An approved faculty member, doctor or pharmacy has a page. Anyone can see the name, what they are, the city and our "checked" line. Signed-in members can see more. Students and health seekers have no public page.

To keep these listings from being copied, we note which account opened which page, and when. We keep this for 90 days. We keep your network address and your device only as scrambled marks. For a search we keep the city, not your words.

Only the owner of Homoeopaths.org, and team members who hold the role for this, can read these notes.

If an account opens very many pages, we may limit it for a day or pause full pages for a few days. A person on our team looks before anything more is done. Your account is never closed by a machine.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform grows and evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform or newsletter where appropriate.
