Your health information and this platform

Health is private. Before you share anything about it online, you have every right to know where it goes. This piece explains, in plain words, how Homoeopaths.org handles your information as a care-seeker.
We will only say what our own policy and our own platform actually do. Where something is your choice, we say so. Where you should ask us, we say that too.
The rule we start from
Our brand book has a short list of things we will never do. One of them reads: “We will never ask a member for symptoms, health details, or personal data beyond what they’ve specifically consented to share.”
So nothing on the platform makes you describe your health to sign up, to search, or to book. When health details appear on the platform at all, it is because you chose to type them.
What we do collect
Our Privacy Policy lists what we collect. For an account, that is your name, email address and phone number. You may also add profile details such as your city.
Like most websites, the platform also records some things automatically: the type of device and browser you use, your IP address and rough location, which pages you visit, and cookies. Cookies mainly keep you signed in and help us see how the site is used. You can turn cookies off in your browser, though you may then be signed out more often.
We do not sell your personal information. Our policy says we share it only in limited cases: with service providers who run hosting, email and analytics for us, and when the law requires it.
Two places where you may choose to share health details
The booking note. When you book a consultation, there is an optional box called “A note for the practitioner”. It holds up to 500 characters. The page says it plainly: “Share only what you want the practitioner to see before the appointment.” The practitioner you book with sees this note. You can also leave it empty.
The Medical Information section of your dashboard. Your care-seeker dashboard has an optional section with fields for blood group, allergies, medical history and current medications. Every field is optional. Fill in only what you are comfortable with, and leave the rest blank. If you are unsure who can see a field, ask us before you fill it in. A clear answer is your right.
Who sees your phone number and email
When you book, the practitioner does not see your real phone number or email. The platform hides them and shows only a masked label. The same works the other way round: you do not see theirs. Only our support team can see the real contact details, so that we can help if something goes wrong.
Your rights
Our Privacy Policy gives you the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you.
- ask us to correct anything wrong or incomplete.
- ask us to delete your data. Some records may have to be kept by law.
- stop newsletters and marketing messages at any time.
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, write to us on the WhatsApp number shown on the Privacy Policy page.
An honest word on security
Our policy lists the steps we take: encrypted connections, secure storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. It is also honest that no website can promise perfect security. That is one more reason to share only what you need to.
About children
The platform is meant for students, who are usually 17 or older, and for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent looking for care for a child, the account should be yours.
This platform is not the place for emergencies
Please do not use a booking note or a message to report something urgent. If you or someone near you is seriously unwell, go to the nearest hospital, or call 112. And for any health question, speak to a qualified, registered practitioner, not a website.
Where to go next on this platform
The Privacy Policy, linked at the foot of every page, is the full text behind this piece. “How consultation fees work here (no numbers, just the how)” explains the booking and payment steps. And “Talking to your homoeopath and your other doctors at the same time” helps you decide what to tell each of your doctors.
This piece is for learning. It is not medical advice. For your own health, please see a registered doctor.
