Annual Report — opening after our first full year

This page will hold the Homoeopaths.org annual report, and it says so honestly: no annual report has been published yet. The first one will cover the platform’s first full year and will be posted here when it exists.

An annual report only means something once there is a full year of activity to report on — the size of the college network, how verification held up, what the practitioner and care-seeker directories actually did for people who used them, what changed and what didn’t. Publishing one before that year is complete would mean publishing guesses dressed up as a record, and this platform’s rule is the opposite of that: say what is true and checkable, not what sounds convincing.

Until the first report exists, two other pages carry the honest version of where things stand. What runs here today lists exactly what is live on the platform right now, activity by activity. Our Story explains why the platform exists in the first place. Between them, they say more truthfully what year one looked like than a report written too early ever could.

When the first report is written, it will follow the same standard the rest of the platform holds itself to: verification over persuasion. A practitioner listing states a name, a qualification, a registration number and hours, and nothing else — no case for why that listing matters more than another. An annual report built the same way would state what happened, what grew, and what didn’t, without dressing any of it up to sound more finished than it is. That’s the bar this page is waiting to meet, rather than filling the space early with something softer.

Once the first annual report is written, it will be indexed below this header, and every report after it will join the same shelf — a year-by-year record, kept in one place, that anyone can check against what the platform actually did.

Publishing a first report is also, in a small way, a commitment the platform is making to itself now, ahead of having anything to show: that once a full year exists, the platform will describe it honestly, in public, rather than quietly deciding a report isn’t necessary. Naming that expectation here, before the year is even over, is part of what keeps it from slipping.
