Workshops on this platform: joining, hosting, recording

Some things are better learned live. A workshop on a practical skill. A lecture you can ask questions in. A short series that meets once a week. Homoeopaths.org has a system for running these, and this piece explains how it works.

It covers three questions people ask most: how to join, whether you can host, and whether sessions are recorded. We will answer each one honestly, including the parts that are still simple or not built.

Where workshops are announced

Every session is announced first on one page: Webinars & Workshops, in the Learn section.

That page shows two things. First, programmes that are open for enrolment. A programme can be a single session or a series. Second, one-off announcements: a single talk posted with its date, its speaker and how to join.

If the page is quiet when you visit, that simply means nothing is scheduled yet. We do not fill it with dates that are not real.

What a programme page tells you

Each programme has its own page. It shows the kind of programme, that it runs online, and when it begins, in India time. It gives a description, then lists every session in order, with dates where they are set.

You will not see a fee on that public page. That is on purpose. Our brand rules keep fees out of anything that looks like promotion. If a programme has a fee, you see it only inside the enrolment step, after you sign in. Some programmes may have no fee.

Joining: who can enrol, and how

Programmes are for members: BHMS students and practitioners. Care-seekers use the platform in a different way, and do not enrol in programmes.

Here is the path, step by step.

  1. Sign in. The enrolment steps appear only once you are signed in.
  2. Wait for approval, if needed. If your registration is still being reviewed, the page tells you so. Enrolment opens once it is approved.
  3. Scholar membership first, for some programmes. A programme can be marked as part of Scholar membership. For those, your Scholar membership comes first, as its own separate payment. Then you come back and enrol. We never combine the two into one checkout.
  4. Enrol. If the programme has a fee, you pay it once. Payments go through Razorpay.
  5. Get your joining details. Once you are enrolled, the page says: “Joining details are shared closer to the day.” They appear on the programme page and on your dashboard.

Attendance and certificates

Attendance is recorded session by session. It is not assumed from enrolment.

A certificate is issued only to a member who was present at every session of the programme. It waits on your dashboard, where you can print it. Each certificate carries its own number.

Once a certificate is issued, the attendance behind it is fixed. It cannot be changed later. That is how a certificate keeps meaning exactly what it says: this person attended the whole programme.

The Certifications page in the Learn section explains this standard, and it is honest that it will not list a certificate before the programme behind it exists.

Hosting: can you run a workshop?

The honest answer: not by yourself, yet.

Programmes are set up by the platform team, in our own planner. The same team marks attendance. There is no form where a member can post their own workshop.

If you have a workshop in mind, the way to start is a conversation. Write to us through the Contact page. Tell us what you would teach, who it is for, and how many sessions it needs. We cannot promise that every idea will run.

If your idea is a piece of writing rather than a live session, Publish With Us is the right door.

Recording: are sessions recorded?

Again, the honest answer. The programme system does not record sessions. Enrolling does not give you a recording, and you should not expect one.

When a talk is recorded and published, it appears on a different page: Homoeopathy Lectures, in the Learn section. That page says the first recordings will appear there as they are ready. So if a recording matters to you, attend live, and keep an eye on Homoeopathy Lectures.

A courtesy note. If you want to record a session yourself, ask the organisers and the speaker first. Other members speak in these sessions too.

The short version

  • Sessions are announced first on Webinars & Workshops.
  • Programmes are for approved student and practitioner members.
  • Some need Scholar membership first, as a separate step.
  • Certificates go only to members present at every session.
  • Members cannot host directly yet. Start with the Contact page.
  • Sessions are not recorded by the programme system. Recordings, when made, go to Homoeopathy Lectures.
