The idea behind a members meet is straightforward: a platform built around colleges, batches and a verified practitioner network is still, underneath all of that, a community of people — and some of what that community needs happens better in a room together than through a dashboard. When a date, a place and a way to register exist, they’ll be posted here first, the same way every other announcement on this platform works: nothing before it’s real.

A gathering like this is aimed at the platform’s members specifically — the BHMS students and practitioners who hold Working, Life or Scholar membership — rather than the general public, in keeping with the platform’s own rule that students, practitioners and care-seekers belong to the same platform but never the same room. What form it eventually takes, how often it happens, and where it’s held are all questions this page will answer honestly once they have real answers, not before.

A gathering also depends on something the online parts of the platform don’t: a critical mass of members across enough colleges to make travelling to one place worthwhile. Twelve colleges across Uttar Pradesh means a members meet has to think about where in the network it makes sense to hold one, and who can realistically reach it — questions worth answering properly rather than rushing past just to have an event on the calendar. That’s part of why this page waits rather than announcing something provisional and adjusting it later.

It’s also worth being clear about what a members meet is not: it isn’t a recruitment event, and it isn’t built around selling anything to the people who attend. It’s simply a chance for the students and practitioners who already make up this network to be in the same room, which is a different kind of value than any online feature can really substitute for — the same reason the platform keeps Webinars & Workshops and this page as two separate things rather than collapsing them into one.
